Women’s Cross Country Races at Prestigious Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Connecticut College women's cross country team placed 10th among 32 scoring schools at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Friday.

The Camels competed in the Women's White 6k Division and were led by freshman Meredith Cronin (Foxboro, Mass.) for the third time in as many meets. She placed 40th among 271 competitors by circling the course in 23:43. Junior Eva Brydson (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and sophomore Hannah Noyes (Vinalhaven, Maine) were 43rd and 64th with times of 23:44 and 24:09, respectively, while seniors Micaela Nee (Hanover, Mass.) and Grace Sheeran (Medina, Wash.) rounded out the team's top five.

Connecticut College will take the next weekend off and return to action when it hosts an invitational on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Harkness Park.
