NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College volleyball program is teaming up with the institution's Office of Sexual Violence Prevention and Advocacy to host its annual "Green Dot Game" when the Camels face Coast Guard on Friday, Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.
Green Dot is an international violence prevention program, implemented by the College in 2010, that trains students, faculty and staff in bystander intervention, and the endeavor for Friday's game is being organized with the goal of increasing awareness to help prevent sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking on campus and in our communities.
Fans are encouraged to wear green on Friday, and there will be several activities taking place throughout the evening which includes a serving contest between the second and third sets. Fans will be invited on the to court to serve and hit "red dots" to make them green and win prizes.
