Fifty-Four Student-Athletes Earn NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team Honors

HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 54 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2019 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. The teams include the sports of baseball, softball, lacrosse, golf, outdoor track & field, rowing, tennis, sailing, and women’s water polo.

Connecticut College Enshrines Four Individuals Into Athletic Hall of Fame

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Four exemplary former student-athletes were recently inducted into the Connecticut College Athletic Hall of Fame. The class consists of Grant Moryan ’10 (men’s swimming), Rand Pecknold ’90, ’93 MAT (men’s ice hockey), Beret Remak ’07 (women’s tennis), and Patrick Troy ’10 (men’s swimming).

BABSON PARK, Mass. – In a match that came down to the wire, the Connecticut College women’s tennis team was edged by Babson, 5-4, in non-conference action on Friday afternoon. The Beavers won two doubles matches to gain the upper hand and then later clinched the victory at No. 1 singles.
