NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's squash team will look to be competitive when it travels to Trinity to compete at the NESCAC Championships this weekend.
Connecticut College (3-8), which is seeded 10th for the second straight year, will begin competing at the three-day, double-elimination event when it faces No. 7 seed Hamilton on Friday at 6 p.m. The Camels enter the tournament riding a two-game winning streak and will look to avenge a 9-0 loss to the Continentals from earlier this season on a bigger stage.
The team this year has been centered around developing its youth with only one senior on the roster in Jackie Chu (New York, N.Y.). Juniors Davis Lemay (Harwich Port, Mass.) and Margaret Davey (Groton, Mass.) have recently been competing in the top two positions, while Birgitta Salvesen-Quinn (Cambridge, Mass.) has shown significant improvement at the lower end of the lineup.
