HADLEY, Mass. – Connecticut College women's ice hockey senior Jordan Cross (Saugus, Mass.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office. She is being recognized for the first time this season.
Cross helped the Camels register a 1-0-1 record on the road at Amherst to start the season by factoring into three of the team's four goals. She first helped the team salvage a 2-2 tie by scoring the equalizer with under five minutes remaining in regulation on Friday night. The senior then scored the first Camel goal and set up the eventual game-winning marker in a 2-1 victory over the Mammoths on Saturday.
Connecticut College (1-0-1) returns to the ice to face Castleton in its home opener tomorrow evening at 7 p.m.
