ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Connecticut College women's sailing team competed at an interconference regatta hosted by the United States Naval Academy over the weekend.
Battling through challenging weather conditions, the Camels placed 10th out of 20 teams at the regatta. Senior Allie Maurillo (Shelter Island, N.Y.) and sophomore Paige Dunlevy (San Francisco, Calif.) paced the team by finishing sixth overall, which included winning on Sunday.
The coed team attempted to compete at St. Mary's, but the event was eventually canceled due to a lack of wind.
Connecticut College will train at St. Mary's this week and return to New London to compete in a pair of regattas next weekend.
