NEW ORLEANS, La. – Junior distance runner Danny Aschale (Cambridge, Mass.) made the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-New England Region Team, as announced by the national organization.
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Women’s swimming freestyle standout Olivia Haskell and men’s soccer midfielder Ben Manoogian were among the student-athletes who were presented with major awards at the 2018-19 Connecticut College Senior Student-Athlete Awards Banquet on Saturday afternoon.
HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 54 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2019 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. The teams include the sports of baseball, softball, lacrosse, golf, outdoor track & field, rowing, tennis, sailing, and women’s water polo.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Five members of the Connecticut College men’s track & field team raced at the New England Championships on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University over the weekend. The Camels tied for 35th place among 38 scoring teams with two points by placing eighth in two events.
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Freshman Ben Vazquez (Millington, N.J.) recorded a top-eight finish in the 800-meter run and classmate Billy Fleurima (Bronx, N.Y.) anchored a record-breaking relay to lead the Connecticut College men’s track & field team on the final day of competition at the New England Division III Championships on Saturday afternoon.

The Camels finished the scoring meet with 57.50 points.
