HARTFORD, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's track & field team competed at the Trinity Invitational in its final tuneup for the NESCAC Championships on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Jacob Beloin (Cheshire, Conn.) posted the highest finish in the field by notching a runner-up mark of 18-feet, 7.25-inches in the long jump. He also placed third in the triple jump by leaping 40-5. Junior Jonathan Handy (Hingham, Mass.) had a strong effort in the hammer throw by recording a fourth-place toss of 132-10.
On the track, freshman Donovan Soucy (Bristol, Conn.) placed fourth in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles by circling the track in 1:01.69.
Connecticut College will head back to Trinity to compete at the NESCAC Championships on Saturday, Apr. 28.
