WATERVILLE, Maine – The Connecticut College men's tennis team dropped a NESCAC contest to Colby by a 9-0 decision on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Charlie Williams (Mercer Island, Wash.), senior Patrick Farrell (Smithtown, N.Y.) and Will Cannon (Fairfield, Conn.) competed in the closest matches of the day. Williams and Farrell were edged by Jeremy Mendoza and Luis Gonzalez by a 9-8 score at No. 2 doubles, while Cannon fell by set scores of 6-4 and 7-6 at the No. 2 singles spot.
Connecticut College (2-5, NESCAC 0-4) will next visit Bates for a 2 p.m. matinee tomorrow afternoon.
