NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Connecticut College men's squash team concluded its 2018-19 campaign on a high note by defeating Hobart, 6-3, on the final day of CSA Nationals at Chelsea Piers.
Freshman Chris Mach (Concord, Mass.) triumphed in the closest match of the day by rallying from two sets down to win in five from the No. 9 position. Scores were 7-11, 5-11, 11-7, 11-7, and 12-10. Senior Scott Brown (Old Greenwich, Conn.) also triumphed in a marathon match at the No. 5 spot by marks of 11-7, 12-10, 10-12, 7-11, and 11-6.
Connecticut College (10-10), which closed out the winter by winning six of its final seven matches, graduates four seniors and is slated to return nine letterwinners next season.
