HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 54 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2019 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. The teams include the sports of baseball, softball, lacrosse, golf, outdoor track & field, rowing, tennis, sailing, and women's water polo.
Connecticut College's women's outdoor track & field team placed 12 student-athletes on the all-academic team, which was the highest number of selections among Camel programs. Men's lacrosse (9), women's rowing (9), women's lacrosse (5), men's outdoor track & field, men's tennis (4), men's rowing (3), women's tennis (3), women's water polo (3), and sailing (2) all had at least one student-athlete chosen.
To be honored on the all-academic team, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50. A transfer student must have completed at least one year of study at the institution.
