  • Williams Downs Volleyball in Straight Sets; McGee and Elisman Notch Double-Doubles

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Sophomore Grace McGee (Portland, Ore.) and senior Katia Elisman (Lake Forest, Ill.) registered their first double-doubles of the season of the assist-dig variety, but it wasn’t enough, as the Connecticut College volleyball team dropped a NESCAC contest to Williams by a 3-0 score on Saturday afternoon at Chandler Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-22, 26-24 and 25-18.

    CLINTON, N.Y. - The Connecticut College volleyball team fell to Hamilton by a 3-1 score in the NESCAC opener for both schools on Friday evening at the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. Set scores were 25-23, 16-25, 23-25 and 16-25.

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Junior Jenny Kellogg (Los Altos, Calif.) registered a double-double to propel the Connecticut College volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Salve Regina on Tuesday evening at the Luce Field House. The Camels rallied to win by set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-17.
  • Volleyball Improves to 5-0 With Straight-Set Wins Over Nichols and Western Connecticut State

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College volleyball team remained undefeated by earning a pair of victories in straight sets over Nichols and Western Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon at the Luce Field House. The Camels defeated the Bison by scores of 25-22, 25-5 and 25-17 before earning 25-20, 25-22 and 25-19 set wins against the Colonials.

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Senior Sam Hunter (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) registered 12 kills in consecutive games as the Connecticut College volleyball team picked up two victories on Friday at the Luce Field House. The Camels swept Worcester State to start the weekend on a high note before defeating Regis in four sets later in the evening.

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Senior Sam Hunter (Palos Verdes, Calif.) and junior Jenny Kellogg (Los Altos, Calif.) each registered a double-double to lead the Connecticut College volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Western New England in its season opener on Wednesday evening. The Camels won in straight sets by scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-14.
