No. 5 Middlebury Blanks Women’s Tennis

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Connecticut College women's tennis team fell to No. 5 Middlebury by a 9-0 decision on Sunday afternoon.

Sophomore Skylar Morgan (Pittsburgh, Pa.) made a notable effort in singles and doubles play. She first teamed up with Meredith Kenny (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and came up short by an 8-4 score at the second spot, which was the closest doubles match of the day, before losing in straight sets to Emily Bian at No. 5 singles by marks of 6-2 and 6-1.

Connecticut College (8-6, NESCAC 0-4) will continue a five-game road trip when it visits Babson on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.
