Connecticut College 8, Ithaca College 1 Camels  Take All Three Doubles Points en Route to Their Seventh Win of the Spring

NEW LONDON, Conn.—The Connecticut College women's tennis team coasted to an 8-1 victory against Ithaca College in a non-conference match played on the rubber courts in Luce Field House Sunday.

The Camels improved their record to 7-6 on the spring, while the Bombers fell to 12-5 with the loss.

Aleksandra Drljaca (East Greenwich, R.I.) cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number one singles to pace the Camels. Junior Charlotte Marcoux (Sudbury, Mass.) chipped in with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph at number two. At third singles, junior Adrienne Sieverding (Red Hook, N.Y.) posed a 6-2, 6-1 straight set victory for the Camels.

Ithaca College sophomore Jodi Grosberg (Needham, Mass.) salvaged a point for the visitors with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph at sixth singles.

Sieverding and Drljaca joined forces in an 8-5 victory at number one doubles for Connecticut College.
