CRANSTON, R.I. – The Connecticut College women's sailing team visited the Ocean State to compete in the Brad Dellenbaugh Trophy Regatta this weekend.
The Camels placed seventh in the 18 team field with a score of 138 points. In the A division, Ragna Agnerup (Oslo, Norway), Allie Maurillo (Shelter Island, N.Y.) and Issy Pieper (Westport, Conn.) scored 81 points to place 10th for the Camels. In the B division, Charlotte List (Fair Haven, N.J.), Hannah Staples (Mendham Township, N.J.), Katie Rodger (Marblehead, Mass.) and Gwynie Dunlevy (San Francisco, Calif.) scored 57 points to place fourth for the Camels.
Connecticut College posted a 6-4 record to place third out of six teams in the Camel Team Race this weekend. Junior skipper Hugh MacGillivray (Portsmouth, R.I.), Walt Florio (Rye, N.Y.), Cooper Nefsky (New York, N.Y.) and Carter Pemberton (Osterville, Mass.) all skippered for the Camels in the A division. In the B division, Eliza Garry (Beverly, Mass.), Erin Smith (Hanover, Mass.), Davis Lemay (Harwich Port, Mass.), Austin Smith (Severna Park, Md.), Sam Rodiger (Hingham, Mass.), Cecilia Moreira (Winthrop, Mass.) and Nefsky all assisted as the crew for the Camels.
