O'Neal Establishes School Record in Rarely Contested Indoor 100 Meter Dash

MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--Connecticut College sophomore Blake O'Neal (Houston, Texas) posted a time of 12.35 seconds to win the rarely contested indoor 100 meter dash at the Wesleyan University Spring Break Classic today.

In the 3000 meter run, sophomore Price Day (Harvard, Mass.) posted a winning time of 9:15.25. Sophomore Russell Adam (Cheshire, Conn.) placed third in 9:24.79. Junior Jordan Comeau (Winchendon, Mass.) placed seventh for the Camels in the 3000 with a time of 9:41.76. 

In the weight throw, Jonathan Handy (Hingham, Mass.) covered a distance of 36 feet, eight and one quarter inches to place second today. Andrew Peterson (Wallingford, Conn.) placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:03.64. Geoff Pendergast (Weston, Mass.) placed fifth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 54.46 seconds.
