Men’s Squash Falls to Franklin & Marshall

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's squash team fell to Franklin & Marshall by a 7-2 score on the campus of Wesleyan University on Saturday.

The Camels got both of their points from the bottom two spots in the lineup in thrilling fashion. At No. 8, freshman Thomas Whittmore won in five sets by scores of 7-11, 11-7, 14-12, 7-11 and 11-9. Classmate Chris Mach, meanwhile, rallied from two sets down to triumph by marks of 7-11, 8-11, 11-8, 11-8 and 11-8 from the No. 9 position.

Connecticut College (0-3) will play two more matches at Wesleyan tomorrow when it faces Colby at 11 a.m. and Bard at 3 p.m.
